Esta Parquet
Esta Parket Engineered Wooden Floors
Durable Extra Matt Lacquer Finish
The current trend is for non-glossy, matt parquet flooring, which was previously only achieved with natural oil or oil-wax finishes. However, oiled or oil-waxed parquet surfaces require more maintenance than lacquered parquet surfaces. Lacquered parquet surfaces, on the other hand, are very easy to clean and maintain. Previously, lacquer surfaces had a higher gloss level and seemed less natural. Estaparket offers an innovative extra matt lacquer finish that looks as matt as an oiled parquet surface and requires as little maintenance as a traditional lacquered parquet surface. The gloss level of the extra matt lacquer is only 5%.
Boards with Fixed Lengths
The parquet boards are always full-length, ensuring a look as close as possible to long solid plank floors.
More Stable 3-Layer Construction
The base layer of Estaparket's 3-layer construction is made from birch veneer instead of softwood, which is moisture-resistant and adds stability to the board, balancing the hardwood top layer. The even moisture content across all parquet layers ensures the stability of the engineered parquet floors.
Filler in Matching Colors
Repairs with filler are done by hand at Estaparket to ensure the highest quality. The advantage of Estaparket's filler is that it can be tinted to match the finish. This means that filler used to fill knots and cracks blends seamlessly, resulting in a significantly more uniform appearance of the floor.
UNILIN click System
For one-strip and three-strip parquet floors, Estaparket uses the high-quality, glue-free UNILIN click system. This connection ensures quick and quality floating installation. Herringbone parquet floors and French herringbone (Chevron parquet floors) are glued to the subfloor.
Unique Slow Wood Drying Process
We produce parquet boards exclusively in our Estonian factory, starting with wood drying to ensure excellent quality. We dry the wood ourselves, using only green energy. Compared to the industry-standard 2-week drying process, we dry the wood for approximately 45 days. Slow drying causes significantly less stress in the wood, making the floors more stable.
Ecological Parquet with M1 Certification
No volatile organic compounds/formaldehydes are added during parquet production. Flooring industry standards and regulations have not been updated for decades and are much weaker than M1 requirements. Emissions of formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds can be harmful and cause various illnesses. The M1 certificate ensures that Estaparket emissions are as low as those of natural wood, making Estaparket floors completely safe for your home.
All our products are certified according to the following safety standards: FEP, CE, emission class M1, E1 certificate, EPH certificate, BFL.
We carefully select materials and components that emit as few pollutants as possible—from adhesives to finishes.
Test results show that our products have one of the lowest formaldehyde emissions (approximately four times lower than allowed), making them suitable for allergy sufferers. Our factory's internal production standards are stricter than European standard requirements.
