wooden parquet
Wood flooring is made from natural wood.
Wooden floors are available in different constructions such as solid wood flooring, which is made entirely from one type of wood and must be glued to the subfloor. Additionally, there are 2-layer wood floors available for gluing to the subfloor that have a plywood or HDF construction, or 3-layer floating floors, i.e., click-together plank floors.
The most common wooden flooring solution is factory-finished one-strip and three-strip engineered parquet flooring, or herringbone flooring that can be installed either as a floating floor, i.e., click-together, or glued to the subfloor. There are also a wide range of 2-layer and solid wood floors made entirely from one type of wood, such as strip parquet, mosaic parquet, industrial parquet, and panel parquet.
Wooden floors are delivered either unfinished or finished. Wood floors are finished with matte varnish, oil or oil wax. Thanks to combinations of different stains and colored oils, the choice of possible finishes is quite large.
Wooden floors are made from many types of wood. Among hardwoods, oak flooring is undoubtedly the most popular. Among softwoods, the most popular solution is three-layer floating Siberian larch plank flooring.
